Our inaugural journey into the oldest exposed rock on Earth — where life on the planet began.
Rooted in the Genesis Route of Mpumalanga, the Makhonjwa Barberton mountain range is one of the oldest natural structures in the world, with volcanic and sedimentary rock dating back 3.6 to 3.25 billion years and an inscription on the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites. Our inaugural journey took participants back to the source: wilderness walking, eco-therapy, indigenous knowledge and craft with the elders of the Swati community.
